Mexico

Mexican Caribbean (Cancun, Isla Mujeres, Playa del Carmen, Tulum, Cozumel)

Dominican Republic

  • Status: Open for travel
  • COVID-19 test: In accordance with the D.R. Responsible Tourism Recovery Plan launched on September 15th, travelers do not need to provide a negative PCR or COVID-19 test upon arrival. Authorities will randomly administer a quick breath test to 3-10% of arriving travelers. All travelers visiting a hotel, are being granted a temporary, free travel assistance (travel insurance) plan. Hotel Guests will receive the necessary information during their hotel check-in process. The plan includes coverage for emergencies, COVID-19 testing, lodging for prolonged stays and costs for changing flights in the event of an infection. This insurance will be provided at no cost to the traveler until December 31, 2020 and will be paid 100% by the Dominican Republic government.
  • Other entry requirements: Health evaluations may be conducted upon arrival, social distancing, and face masks are required at the airport. As part of the immigration and customs process, travelers will be required to fill out and submit a Traveler’s Health Affidavit. Through this form, travelers declare they have not felt any COVID-19 related symptoms in the last 72 hours and provide contact details for the next 30 days. Jamaica

  • Status: Open for travel
  • COVID-19 test: All residents of the United States of America (USA), Brazil, Dominican Republic, Mexico or Panama who are 12 years of age or over, are required to obtain and present a negative COVID-19 PCR or Antigen test result to check in for a flight. The date of the sample collection must be less than 10 days from the travel date to Jamaica.
  • Other entry requirements: Visitors must fill out a Travel Authorization Form in advance and face masks are required at the airport.  Applications for Travel Authorizations will be accepted up to 5 days, but NO LESS than 24 hours before intended arrival in Jamaica. Additionally, personal information submitted with the Travel Authorization, such as name and date of birth, must match the information on the COVID-19 test.

Costa Rica

  • Status: Open for travel with restrictions. Beginning Nov 1: Costa Rica re-opens its air borders to all countries in the world as long as they meet the visa requirements when required, as well as the requirements established in the framework of the pandemic. 
  • COVID-19 test: As of Oct 26, all local and foreign travelers who enter Costa Rica by air are not required to present a RT-PCR diagnostic test with a negative result.
  • Other entry requirements: Face masks and social distancing are required at airports. Traveler’s Medical Insurance - international or purchased in Costa Rica through the National Insurance Institute or Sagicor. Travelers must fill out the electronic epidemiological HEALTH PASS form. For international insurance policies, travelers must request a certification from their insurance company, issued in English or Spanish, verifying at least the following three conditions. (This certification must be uploaded when filling out the electronic epidemiological HEALTH PASS):
    • Effectiveness of the policy during the visit to Costa Rica.
    • Guaranteed coverage of medical expenses in the event of becoming ill with the pandemic COVID-19 virus while in Costa Rica, for at least USD $50,000 (fifty thousand United States Dollars).
    • Includes minimum coverage of USD $2,000 for lodging expenses issued as a result of the pandemic.

Curacao

  • Status: Open for travel with restrictions. As of October 8, United States residents from Connecticut, Florida, New Jersey and New York can travel to Curacao.  All other U.S. residents will be required to self-quarantine for 14 days.
  • COVID-19 test: Within 72 hours before departure, each visitor entering Curaçao will need to show a negative result from a certified COVID-19 PCR-test and upload a copy. Follow the instructions at dicardcuracao.com for more details. Please note: PCR tests based on Gargle samples will not be accepted.
  • Other entry requirements: Within 48 hours before departure, complete the Digital Immigration Card also called the, Passenger Locator Card (PLC) at dicardcuracao.com and bring a printed copy with you. In addition, residents of Connecticut, New Jersey, and New York must present a valid state-issued ID as proof of residence. Face masks are required at the airport.

St. Martin

  • Status: Open for travel with restrictions. Travelers are now able to stay and travel between the French and Dutch borders on island.
  • COVID-19 test: Travelers are required to submit negative results from a PCR test taking within 120 hours (5 days) prior to departure. Children ages 10 and younger are exempt.
  • Other entry requirements: Travelers must complete an online Health Declaration Form https://stmaartenehas.com Temperature checks are conducted at the airport, and face masks are required while in the terminal.

Aruba

  • Status: Open for travel with restrictions. U.S. visitors residing in some states will require additional testing.  Check this link to confirm requirements. 
  • COVID-19 test: The Government of Aruba requires all visitors to undergo a Molecular SARS-CoV-2 test based on a nasal or oral swab within 72 hours before entering Aruba. Children aged 14 and under are exempt.
  • Other entry requirements: All visitors are required to complete an online Embarkation/Disembarkation card and be approved in order to gain entry to Aruba, face masks are required at the airport. The new ED card process is available online at: aruba.com.

Hawaii

  • Status: Open for travel with restrictions. All incoming travelers are subject to a 14-day mandatory quarantine upon arrival. Quarantine opt-out possible if travelers present proof of a negative COVID-19 test.
  • COVID-19 test: Beginning October 15, all travelers aged five (5) and over are now required to take a Nucleic Acid Amplification Test (NAAT) from a certified Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendment (CLIA) lab in order to bypass the State of Hawai‘i’s 14-day mandatory quarantine. The State of Hawaiʻi will accept test results ONLY from Trusted Testing and Travel Partners. The test will need to be taken no more than 72 hours before your flight departure time.
  • Other entry requirements: Face mask and social distancing is required throughout the Hawaiian islands including all airports, passenger temperatures are checked via thermal screening, and travelers must complete a health & travel questionnaire before arrival.
